MISSION
We are a multicultural church that provides the Coral Gables community and its surroundings with a healthy environment where you can strengthen your faith, worship Jesus as a family, and be discipled to grow in your walk with God and your purpose in this world.
VISION
To be a church through which thousands of people, both locally and internationally, are transformed by being exposed to biblical principles that they apply in their daily lives, finding hope in Jesus, and salvation for their lives.

MEET OUR PASTOR
Jorge Cotto is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Much of his early ministry was dedicated to the development of youth and music ministries in Puerto Rico and the U.S. In 1985 he moved to Miami where he served for 10 years as Youth Pastor and director of music. During this time he had his first contact with multicultural communities and congregations. God was preparing him for a greater ministry!
In 1998 Jorge accepted a call to be the lead pastor of Central Christian Church in Coral Gables. For the past years he has devoted his life to a bilingual and multicultural ministry that serves as a model for other churches within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Jorge holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master in Divinity from the Center of Theological Studies in Florida. He has served in various positions of the Christian Church Disciples of Christ at the Regional and National levels.
Jorge Cotto currently lives in Miami, Florida, with his wife Bruni and his sons, Daniel and Jeffrey.
MINISTRIES
Take the good news of the gospel to all people and make them have a personal relationship with Jesus through the various ministries of a healthy church like ours. Help involve new believers in ministry according to their needs and a group connection to grow spiritually. Every event should be an opportunity to bring people to God.
Musicians, singers, and dancers have a very important participation in CCC Gables as a church. Volunteers serve the Lord and use their talents in all services and events of the church for a spiritual life full of joy and praise.
As heads of households, they need to equip themselves to face the challenges presented by their family, their job and the community where they live. These tools for spiritual growth are provided in this group.
The needs and concerns of today's women are addressed through forums, special meetings, retreats, and many other activities. In this way they promote hope, joy, security, success, and everything that build and helps to achieve a healthy life of mind, body and spirit transformed by the power of God.
This is a support group for women that shares and celebrates the miracles of a powerful of God. They are part of the Woman HD group.
Strengthen your relationship with your partner by having God at the center of your home. We invite you to participate in “movie nights”, talks, retreats and other activities that help us to better communicate with our better half.
There are so many creatives way of delivering God’s Word to the kids, from birth to high school, your kids will enjoy a safe and loving environment where the seeds of faith will be planted. This group works along with parents to strengthen the faith of the little ones.
We provide you a safe, healthy and fun environment where you can be authentic through teachings, guest speakers and special training, we help you to mature towards an abundant and lasting faith that can stand up to the temptations and challenges of our culture. To help you identify their gifting and your calling so that you can live your life to the fullest. Accept the challenge and be part of us.
You never know who is suffering from a financial crisis due to job loss or some unexpected situation. CCC Gables has volunteers who work with food distribution to provide assistance to families in need.
OUR HISTORY
The Central Christian Church of Coral Gables was founded in 1927. For more than 90 years it has been an instrument of God in South Florida. A church with vision and great desire to fulfill the divine commission to build the Kingdom.
The founders of the congregation never imagined what God had in mind when they opened their doors at the beginning of the last century. For decades the Coral Gables church focused on serving the needs of a predominantly Anglo community. However, the transformation of society brought with it new realities and challenges. At this stage, the church understood the need to refocus its vision to be effective and make a difference in a changing society.
In 1998, guidelines were established for the development of a ministry that would respond to the needs of a diverse and culturally complex community. A new chapter opened with big dreams, goals and expectations.
Currently the “Central Christian Church” of Coral Gables is developing a fully bilingual and multicultural ministry. A group of Anglo and Hispanic leaders from more than 15 countries have united their gifts, talents and abilities to work together as one team. Weekly worship, prayer, and study meetings are held in Spanish, English, and even Spanglish. In addition, the challenge of reaching new generations with the transformative message of the gospel has been taken very seriously.
The Coral Gables congregation has discovered the importance of unity amid diversity. The complex dynamics that are generated in a diverse community have been handled with much love and spiritual maturity. The result has been a congregation united by the love of Christ…. "We are one". To God be the glory!
